recurring forms in my work include barriers and boundaries, structure and scale, order and chaos, organic and inorganic forms, which i find in nature, architecture and travel. i am currently working on my own conceptual photography, and also looking for interesting collaborations or assignments in the many things that take my fancy such as science/medicine/healthcare, cultural roots (mine are bengali, indian. with a spread out family), landscape (and) architecture.
basic info and education
sujata majumdar was born in london in 1976.
she studied physics (natural sciences tripos) at the university of cambridge (1993-1997) and after moving to the netherlands in 2001 she went on to study photography and design (fotografische vormgeving) at the FOTOFactory amsterdam (2005-2008)
